This policy applies to all apps developed by Dirk Kerpen (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and to the website mindsoft.de.
You can use the apps without providing your name, address or email. Data you enter in the calculators (amounts, rates, favourites, settings) is stored on your device and is not sent to us. What else is processed depends on the app (see overview).

These apps show ads from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland; otherwise Google LLC, USA).
Google may process your IP address, device information, advertising ID (IDFA) and ad interactions to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). We request it at launch via Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) and, where tracking applies, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future: in the app settings (privacy options) and in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown where permitted.
Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Lohn Brutto-Netto, Kredit und Anlage, Mortgage Pro, iVerkehr Pro and Lohn und Kredit (Mac) contain no advertising or analytics services. No data is sent to third parties for advertising or analytics.
These apps use your location to show traffic information near you. Your location (e.g. latitude and longitude) is collected only with your permission via iOS location access (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). To provide the content it is sent to our server in Germany, stored anonymised and deleted completely within 24 hours at the latest. It is not passed on to third parties. You can withdraw permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
These apps can sync or back up your data across your devices via iCloud. The data is stored in your iCloud account with Apple (Apple Inc. / Apple Distribution International Ltd., Ireland). We have no access to it. Use is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. You can turn iCloud off for the app at any time in iOS Settings. Legal basis: performance of the contract and your consent by enabling iCloud (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
The currency calculator loads daily reference rates from the website of the European Central Bank (ecb.europa.eu). Your IP address is transmitted to the ECB server as part of this request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
The paid apps (iVerkehr Pro, Lohn Brutto-Netto, Kredit und Anlage, Mortgage Pro, Lohn und Kredit (Mac)) and the yearly subscription of Lohn Brutto-Netto are handled through the App Store. Apple alone processes payment. We receive no payment or account data, only aggregated sales reports from Apple. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it in your Apple ID settings under "Subscriptions".
When you share results (e.g. an amortisation plan) by email or as a PDF, this happens through your device's Mail app or share sheet. We do not receive the content.
The apps may ask you to rate them using Apple's system dialog. We receive no personal data.
When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server log files (IP address, date and time, page requested, data volume, browser/provider) to operate the site securely and without interruption (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept only as long as necessary for this purpose. An IP address is personal data.
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (www.ldi.nrw.de).
